Call For Abstracts and Panel Submissions

• All submissions will be presented in a virtual setting.
• Abstracts must be original, based on the latest evidence and data. Submissions should use evidence-based information with appropriate references.
• Abstracts must be submitted online through the Submit an Abstract link.
• Abstracts submitted outside of the submission period will not be reviewed or considered. All submission sections must be complete in order to be considered.
• Submitters, presenters, and authors must complete disclosure of commercial interest forms if chosen as a presenter. Submitters can have commercial disclosures, BUT submissions must be free of commercial bias. Having a commercial interest will NOT disqualify a submission.
• Submissions cannot be used to advertise or advocate for a specific commercial interest.
• There is a limit of up to 2 abstract submissions by one submitter.
• Submitters must specify if they are proposing a Presentation or Panel.

The sections of a complete submission are:

• Abstract & Details
• Learning Objectives

Session Submission "Abstract & Details" section includes multiple parts:

• Title – 12 words max.
• Topic
• Abstract – 250-500 words.
• Educational Purpose – Description of the problem or need that is being addressed in the presentation and how you plan to address it. 50-200 words.
• References (if applicable)

Accepted abstracts will appear in full on the Virtual Event Website. Submitters are responsible for ensuring that there are no conflicts with making the abstract information available prior to the submission of the abstract.

All submissions are reviewed for quality, scientific value, interest to conference registrants, and overall appropriateness for inclusion in the program. Abstracts will be evaluated based on the submission criteria using a scale ranging from 0 (lowest) to 5 (highest). Abstracts will be reviewed by multiple reviewers, and the average score will be used to rank the priority of the presentation.

Reviewers will also review the commercial disclosures of the abstract authors in cases where there is a concern. Having a commercial disclosure will NOT preclude an abstract's acceptance.

The Program Planning Committee is the primary abstract reviewers. However, we welcome medical doctors to support our efforts in ensuring the highest quality of content.

Submitters of abstracts and presentations will be notified of acceptance/non-acceptance in early January 2021.

Upon acceptance, all presenters and authors will be asked for additional information (e.g., presenter photos and bios, presentations slides, presentation questions, and disclosure of commercial interest). The information must be completed by their posted deadlines. There will be one preliminary deadline of March 1st, 2021, and a final deadline on April 1st, 2021. All presentation slides will be reviewed by members of the TSM Virtual Conference Program Planning Committee, and feedback will be provided. This review MUST be completed before the presentation can be shown to virtual attendees.
